Happy St Patrick’s Day! I can’t believe we are officially in the spring season beginning Monday. Time sure is flying by. Green is my absolute favorite color and has been ever since I can remember, so dressing for St Patrick’s Day has always been a special treat for me. Here are four looks I recently pulled together from items in my closet that have green in them. They not only are appropriate for today, they are perfect for all Spring long! Most of these items have been thrifted or purchased at discount retailers such as Target and Charming Charlie so they are very budget friendly.
Outfit 1: Printed Dress

The Anthropologie Folksong Shift dress is one I picked up on Poshmark a bit ago and I have been itching to wear it. Since the print is so busy, I kept the accessories to a minimum with a tan obi belt, which is also an Anthro piece purchased off of Poshmark, and some minimalist heels I got second hand at one of my favorite local thrift shops.
Outfit 2: Dress with Bomber Jacket
A JCrew green dress is the perfect backdrop for so many layering pieces. It was a thrill to find it at Goodwill in pristine condition. Although I just featured this floral bomber jacket from the Who What Wear collection at Target last week, I wanted to bring it out for this green themed post. Plus it looked fantastic with this dress. A simple, long green stone necklace from Charming Charlie that I have had for several years and a pair of Coach suede booties I recently scored at Savers complete this spring ready outfit.
Outfit 3: Culottes and Lace Jacket
This Anthropologie green lace jacket that I got off of Poshmark makes it’s second St Patrick’s Day outfit appearance as it was in last years lookbook as well in a totally different way. For 2017 it gets a dressed up feel when layered over a long sleeve cream blouse and dark denim culottes, both from the Who What Wear collection. The blouse and culottes were Goodwill finds for me. I tucked in the front of the blouse and left the back out giving it almost a tuxedo vibe. For accessories, a large green vintage inspired necklace that also got featured last year in another way and some Steve Madden leopard wedges I found at Savers.
Outfit 4: Printed Top and Maxi Skirt
Shopping Link: Printed Top
I showed this look as a sneak peek on my Instagram feed and I love the way it looks in real life too! I am in love with the Colima Maxi Skirt in green that was originally from Anthropologie. Goodwill was good to me when I picked this beauty up. I paired it with a blue printed top from the Target clearance section that looks so good with the blue band on the top of the skirt. A gold Anthropologie via Poshmark necklace and Qupid cut out block heel shoes, also via Poshmark complete this final look.
