Floral Midi Skirt: One Piece, Four Ways

Floral Midi Skirt: One Piece, Four Ways | Designing From My Closet

One item I have been grabbing to wear over and over again is my Floral Midi Skirt from the Who What Wear Collection at Target that is available in both straight sizes and plus sizes.  I have always been a fan of brown and blue color schemes as well as large floral prints, so it is no wonder.  Today I am showing four ways that I have recently worn this beauty to show how versatile it really is.

With a Faux Leather Top

I love the contrast of colors with the blue and orange-rust hue of this top.  For cooler days, I would layer a long sleeve blouse underneath this top and add some brown tights.

With a Mock Turtleneck Sweater

This neutral colored sweater adds great texture to this look.  And a blue necklace brings that turquoise tone up from the skirt to the top half of the body.

With a Striped Top & Denim Jacket

This is a bit more casual approach to this skirt and putting stripes and florals together has to be one of the easiest ways to mix prints.  By leaving the shirt loose and untucked, it adds even more to the relaxed nature of this look.

With a Flutter Sleeve Top & Sleeveless Trench

By allowing the skirt to peek out from this sleeveless trench, it gives a great surprise when this outfit moves.  I love how the flutter sleeves stick out from the longline vest.  It gives a mix of feminine and masculine touches along with the hard edges of the vest.

I love all of these looks and have even more ways to style up this skirt.  I love how I can take it from business meetings to the weekend.
