Is it just me, or is everyone anxious for cooler fall weather? There is something so cozy about the autumn season that brings all kinds of good feelings. And while I am not one to wish time away because I savor each and every moment, I am however looking to my wardrobe for ways I can remix pieces I already have in my closet right into fall.
A few weeks ago I wrote a post titled Taking Time to Invest in Yourself + A Floral Tank & Colored Denim Outfit that featured a top I had gotten from Anthropologie. Having both warm and cool tones in the color scheme, I first chose to pair it with my Torrid coral jeggings to play up the oranges and reds in the floral print. It is a great summer outfit complete with fringed sandals.
Today I have taken that same top and styled it highlighting the cool tones in the print by selecting a pair of sage green pants I recently picked up at Goodwill. And in case you missed it, I did a shopping at Goodwill video where I found these pants and also talked about my tips for shopping second hand and thrifting.
Along with the change I slipped on a longer cream cardigan, my cubed necklace from Sylca Designs, and a pair of perforated loafers. It brings a whole new look to this top that I am loving.
In conjunction with this blog post, I did a video showing these two looks:
