Some days I just like to keep it simple. Having tried and true outfits in my wardrobe repertoire is a way to do just that. One that I find always works is a denim top with white bottoms.
I wanted to show this denim tunic untucked since the last time I featured it in my Denim on Denim post, it was tucked in to a skirt. This is such an easy, breezy outfit for summer that will never get old.
As you can see, the tunic has a high low hemline that gives a relaxed feel. To add some personal style to this simple outfit I got some colorful accessories out. A pink and orange raffia pom pom clutch I got last year from Charming Charlie, a pink, orange, and gold bead bangle set I got earlier this summer from Catherines, and a pair of colorful pom pom sandals I got at DSW bring out my personality for sure.
This picture of Luke was way too cute not to include. He is pure sunshine in my book. Of course, every time I bring out this bag with the tassels on it, he goes crazy. He really thinks it is a toy!

- Raffia Pom Pom Clutch: Charming Charlie

And to show how even this Tried & True Outfit can look different ways, here are two more outfits I have worn on the blog before:
-A denim wrap vest with cropped white jeans and the same raffia clutch.
-And then a slimmer cut chambray shirt, belted with a pop of yellow in the shoes and scarf.
Same denim top and white bottoms formula, three distinctly unique looks.
Do you have a “tried & true” outfit that you always turn to? What do you do to keep it fresh and unique?
