When I first began listing items on Poshmark a little over a year ago, I had no idea the impact it would make in my fashion life. Not only was I able to sell my new and gently used clothes and accessories that I either could not fit into or were not my style anymore, I found that it was a great source for supplementing my closet with new pieces. One of the biggest reasons I stalk Poshmark is to catch items I loved the first time around at a retail store but was unable to purchase them prior to selling out. Then I also was able to locate unique items from brands I love (hello Anthropologie) and brands I have always wanted to try but felt intimidated due to the price tag.
I have purchased so many items off of Poshmark as you probably see in my outfit details on almost every post. Today, my friend Justine of The Thrifty Girls Guide and I want to show you our top five finds we have gotten on Poshmark. Although I have gotten quite a few clothing items, as I narrowed down the list, accessories and shoes made the cut as my favorites. It was really hard to do! And here they are:
1-MissGuided Sandals | 2-Anthropologie Floral Scarf | 3-Ostrich (faux) Stretch Belt | 4-Anthropologie Stone Slab Necklace | 5-Forever 21 Mini Zippered Satchel
These block heel sandals have become a quick favorite to wear for me. I had never tried the MissGuided brand before and I was also nervous that the Velcro strap would look weird on. My hesitations were thrown out the window when I found how easy they were to put on. Yah, no teeny tiny buckles that make me crazy! I have also found that the orange on the toe is not keeping me from pairing it with almost anything in my closet. The heel height is just right and I can wear them all day with ease.
Here are the ways I have worn them on the blog:
Anthropologie Floral Scarf
I have never owned an Anthropologie scarf before, but have always wanted to. The multi color floral gives me plenty of opportunities to wear it with several colored clothing items. Although I just got this scarf, I know it is going to be a well used item, especially since I am finally wearing scarves more. I love that it is super big and I can style it many ways including a wrap over my shoulders.
Here is the way I recently wore it:
This faux ostrich stretch belt has to be my most talked about item whenever I post it on social media. I have had several people on Poshmark ask me if I would sell it too. I have absolutely no idea who the maker of this beauty is, but I adore it none the less. I love the texture, large unique gold buckle, and its medium to wide shape. I love that it has a stretch panel on the back that makes it oh so comfy to wear.
Here are the ways I have worn it on the blog:
Anthropologie Stone Slab Necklace
The very first time I walked into an Anthropologie I saw this stone slab necklace on a display. I was completely obsessed and also had no money to purchase it. By the time I had the funds, it was no longer available. When I saw it on Poshmark, I knew it was my chance. It was my very first purchase on Poshmark and I am still in love with it.
Here are several ways I have worn it on the blog:
Forever 21 Mini Zippered Satchel
I saw this zippered satchel in Forever 21 but felt the price tag was a little steep. The same day, on a whim, I did a search for the same bag on Poshmark only to discover a brand new one was being sold there for half the price. I decided to take a chance on it not realizing it would become one of my most used handbags. The reason I love it is because it is small, yet is capable of holding a lot and because I can use it by the long shoulder strap or the short handles.
Here are just a few ways I have shown it here on the blog:
And those are my top five favorite Posh Finds! The reason I love sharing these items with you is because of wonderful success I have had purchasing on Poshmark. I do have a process for buying through this app that I wrote a post on to give you tips that include how I try to avoid bad situations.
