Shop With Me (at Home): Avenue Try On Haul

Shop With Me {At Home}: Avenue Try On Haul | Designing From My Closet | Plus & Inbetweenie Fashion Blog

It has been a while since I filmed a Shop With Me video and instead of doing it in-store in the fitting room, I got some items off of the Avenue website because they were so unbelievably cute and springy.  So today my Shop With Me video is going to be at home showing you the six items I ordered.  And, speaking of shopping and ordering online, Avenue has a new website format!  I have already found that it is easier to navigate and is super sleek.  They even have a section on the What’s New page with a silhouette guide for dresses.  Diamond, hourglass, triangle, and bell shapes are all listed with a link to dresses that work for those specific body types.  So cool!  If you have not figured this out about me, I am a techy nerd.

Anyhow, this is the first time I am trying on all of these clothes, so you will get my first impressions on fit and quality, as well as see me in all my nerdy glory as I gush over new clothes in my bedroom.  And spoiler alert: you also get to see Luke, my yellow Labrador retriever, video bombing and trying to be a star.  Ok, so maybe he is, but I am a little bias.

Enjoy the video!

Here are all of the items I tried on with links below:

I will be styling all of these items for an Avenue Spring 2016 Lookbook that I will have up next week sometime, so keep a look out for that.

Today’s Postivity Note

I’m not weird, I am a limited edition.

 Be Blessed!

  1. This was great! You are so cute! It was fun to see you try the different pieces on and see how excited you got over them! I feel like I know you a little better now. These were great pieces. The shift dress is adorable and such a boho vibe. I was thinking the same thing, that you could style it with a jacket. Thanks for sharing. – Amy –

    1. Hehe! I had fun making this video, so I am glad it showed. You should have seen the parts I edited out where Luke kept rushing the camera! I was laughing so hard.
