This floral spring outfit is one that I recently put together for my Spring Color Palettes post with Powder Pink, Fuchsia, & Tangerine. For that post I had done all the looks in flat-lay and this is it now actually on. Sometimes when I plan an outfit like that, I try it on and it is just awful, but this time I was beyond thrilled with the results. The look is heavy on the vintage side of my personal style and I could not be happier. I love the contrast between the ultra feminine floral skirt and the rustic camel faux leather jacket.
The skirt holds all the keys in this look. The fuchsia is picked up in the low wedge sandals and the tangerine gets picked up in the quilted handbag with the gold chain.
I would have never thought to place powder pink with this skirt, but yet there it is nestled in the floral print. It really softens the loud presence of the lower half. And the ombre necklace could not have been more perfect to complete this look because it has both the powder pink and fuchsia colors in it.
As usual, this jacket has sleeves that are too long for my short waisted body so I just unzipped them and rolled them up in one big cuff. This is also an almost all second hand outfit with items from Goodwill and Poshmark.Outfit Details:
