Dressing casually can be challenging for me. My husband is the polar opposite of me when it comes to our own wardrobes as he is sporting a uniform of t-shirts, tennis shoes, and either sweats or shorts on a daily basis. My job as an interior designer requires me to be on my feet a long portion of the day sometimes and I still want to look pulled together. I also want to be able to run around on the weekends without being in heels, even if they are low. So for a few looks this week, I am going to be showing some outfits with sneakers not only to show you, but to prove it to myself that I can do it!
Now just because I am wearing super sporty shoes, it does not mean I have to sacrifice my vintage bohemian look, so I pulled from the navy in the sneakers to my pom pom floral kimono, my newly ReFashioned lace embellished shirt I just completed, and my initial necklace from Efy Tal Jewelry that I recently did a review on.
This kimono is truly spectacular. It has so many colors in it that I have worn a different color combination with it every time. For this look, I went with my yellow khaki pants I picked up from GAP right when I started my blog.
The navy lace up sneakers are a new acquisition off of Poshmark and I am super surprised at how comfy they are. I rolled up my pants to make them ankle length. A little sporty, a little boho.
