Today’s inspired look comes from a TV Room I designed in collaboration with Goodwill of Orange County. The touches of global influence are right up my ally. I first imported my room pics into my Sherwin Williams Color Snap App and came up with the navy blue, white, and olive green color scheme.
This room is so cozy that I had to recreate it in clothing form. Combining the olive, navy, and white makes for a lovely look. These trouser jeans from Ann Taylor are super flattering. I love how they balance out my thighs with the closer fitting top. Wearing an open cardigan is a look you will see me wearing often as it gives a slimming effect. And speaking of the cardigan, I totally flipped when I saw the Flipped Dots Cardigan that was originally $98 at Anthropologie for $5.99 at Goodwill of Orange County. This is my first time wearing and I just love it. The Ikat handbag and wood bead necklace give a nod to the tribal feel of the inspiration room. Leaving tops untucked is something I usually do as well to keep my torso from seeming so short because I am short-waisted.
I am working on a project called the One Room Challenge that is wrapping up and I need to do a little bit of shopping to finish it. If you care to stop by and check it out, I am doing a MidCentury Modern sitting room that I am sure I will showing here to do an inspiration outfit.
